Our peaceful Friday the 13th

We've finally gotten down to utilizing the school's resources.

So on a not-too-early Friday morning, we ran.

Pei wears woolly shirt to run. FYI temperature
was 26-27 deg celsius. power!

After lunch, we went to Hsinchu City glass museum.
Delicate glass exhibits surround us...

This structure can be found at Hsinchu's
downtown aka 'Tampines Mall'

Unable to believe that Christmas light bulbs
were one of the best selling products in Hsinchu!

Cinderella's pumpkin carriage

Duck dives

From a distance, the tree bark
appears 2-D and flat (stage effect)

Looks like standing on snow!

Fascinated by the moppy hair

Thereafter, we did grocery shopping at the nearest hypermarket (the hypermarket is called "爱买", but I think it should change its name to "乱买", sounds more apt) since our food supply was "depleting at an increasing rate" (quotes Pei)

Waiting for cab in the harsh, chilly winds.
Cannot take it... Trolley almost flew away...

Still no cab in sight...turning into ice popsicles...
